Lois Cormack is a visionary leader and founding partner of Spring Living Retirement Communities, where she serves as CEO and Director. Under her leadership, Spring Living has rapidly emerged as a trailblazer in Canada’s mid-market retirement living sector. Since its inception, the company has expanded to 22 retirement residences across Ontario and Quebec, setting a new standard for affordable independent living, assisted living, and memory care.

Prior to Spring Living, Ms. Cormack served as President, CEO, and Director of Sienna Senior Living (TSX: SIA), where she played a pivotal role in transforming the company into one of Canada's largest and most respected senior living providers. During her tenure, she successfully rebranded the organization, more than doubled its size, and received national recognition for outstanding growth, a strong and inclusive corporate culture, and exceptional investor returns.

Throughout her career, Ms. Cormack has built a reputation for creating high-performing, mission-driven organizations that balance business success with social impact. She has held senior executive roles across the healthcare and senior living sectors, including as President of Specialty Care, consistently delivering sustainable growth and innovation.

Ms. Cormack has been widely recognized for her leadership. She was named to The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business “Women Lead Here” list, featured in The Financial Post’s CEO 100 Scorecard, and recognized among Canada’s Top 100 Female Leaders and Entrepreneurs by PROFIT/Chatelaine W100. Most recently, Spring Living was recognized in Report on Business as one of Canada’s Top Growing Women-Led Companies, based on a three-year revenue growth rate, affirming her continued success in scaling impactful businesses.

A strong advocate for diversity, innovation, and community impact, Ms. Cormack currently serves as a trustee of Allied Properties REIT, co-chairs the RealPAC Senior Living Committee, and is a member of the Advisory Board for K2X, a Silicon Valley-based health tech company. She has also served on the Board of Governors of Seneca College and as Chair of the Ontario Long-Term Care Association.

In addition to her corporate leadership, Ms. Cormack is deeply committed to giving back. She founded Sienna for Seniors, a charitable initiative that has raised significant funds for local causes, and has combined her passion for cycling and philanthropy by supporting both national and community-based charities.

Ms. Cormack holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of Toronto, and is a graduate of both the Ivey Executive Program at the University of Western Ontario and the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program.
